Hello

Tiny Vinyl Collective at its core is a production house, for all things audio and audio focused visuals. It got its name because no one is really doing anything by themselves. We're built on the shoulders of mentors, teachers, peers, records we absorb, family and friends. The collective influence of everything then comes out. Ironically the production company is a lot of solo work, editing, creating and putting things together, but behind that is all of this. I pull in my network whenever I can, or for whatever the project requires.

My Story

I'm Nick Di Gregorio. I learnt classical and jazz guitar young and was playing professionally by 15, which took me to WAAPA for jazz performance and then onto cruise ships playing commercial music. I started singing at 21 and moved to London not long after.

London is where I got into music production, and the whole stream of mixing and mastering. Video came out of necessity, every musician needs promo, and that need kept growing and changing as I got a taste for beautiful angles and good lighting. Podcasts go back further, to when I left Australia to travel, and before they were cliche they kept me company and helped me grow. I love audio in all its forms, and composing, arranging, scoring and writing have been with me through it all.

Covid got me stuck in Airlie Beach, where I started playing around the Whitsunday region and built the Tiny Vinyl Sessions to scratch the itch of making music not for anyone else but to connect with other musicians. Twenty years in every kind of venue, and my heart still lies in the practice room, playing and nerding out about the craft of it all.
